Helen Doreen "Dee" Jump, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Cedarhurst Assisted Living, Fort Wayne. Doreen was born in Sturgis, Michigan on March 29, 1931. She loved working in her yard, traveling, playing euchre with her beloved "Eucherettes", and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Christine (Jeff DeBoer) Yarger of Maple Plain, MN and Jody (Thomas) Sprunger of Grabill; grandchildren, Joel and Abbie Yarger, Brandon, Jennifer, Brittany and Stephanie Sprunger. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Jump in 2009; grandson, Caleb Sprunger; and two brothers.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior. Private burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to St. Paisius Orthodox Church, www.orthodoxfw.com or donor's choice.
